QMB - midterm examination takes place on Tuesday, 3rd August 2010 @ 9:00 am in room 101
CIB - midterm examination takes place on Thursday, 5th August 2010 @ 12:30 am in room 101 – please note that the Project lecture on that date will start at 4:00 pm and will take place in room 102 !!!
FOA – midterm examination takes place on Monday, 9th August 2010 @ 9:00 am in room 101
MBA Programme
SAPM - midterm examination takes place on Tuesday, 3rd August 2010 @ 4:00 pm in rooms 101 & 102 - please note that MHRD lecture on that date will take place in room 201 !!!
ADMS - midterm examination takes place on Thursday, 5th August 2010 @ 4:00 pm in room 201
IASDM - midterm examination takes place on Friday, 6th August 2010 @ 4:00 pm in rooms 101, 102, 201 & 202

Lords Cricket

The time of the Lords coaching session has been changed to 5pm. Students are asked to meet at the Kingsbury Campus at 4pm to travel to Lords.

Visit to Lords Cricket Ground- Tour, net and training session

There will be a visit to Lords Cricket Ground on the 30th July for any student wishing to join the tour and participate in a net and training session with the coach from the Bangladeshi under 21's cricket coach. Numbers will be limited so sign up soon at Student Services. Students may pay a deposit of £10. This deposit will be refunded on the day, at arrival of the event. There will also be a cricket match against Holborn College in August, watch this space for more information.

Conversation/Debating Club

Come along to TASMAC's first converstion club get together. Opportunities for you to practice your spoken English on a wide range of topics and debates. Thursday 28th July 13.30-14.30, Room 101, Kingsbury Campus.

Student Association

Student Association elections will be held for semester 1 students. Any student wishing to put their name forward for class represenative should inform a member of the student services team.

Careers Advisor

Priyanka, TASMAC's Careers Advisor, will now split her time between Ujima House in Wembley and TASMAC House in Kingsbury. Priyanka will be based in Wembley on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and in Kingsbury on Wednesday and Thursday. Any student wishing to make an appointment for careers advice should be aware of this schedule.

New Campus for MBA and MQP students

After months of speculation about TASMAC opening a new campus, I am pleased to officially announce that TASMAC London School of Business will open it’s Wembley campus on Monday 21st June. The new MBA Campus is a very exciting venue for our students, located in the bustling heart of iconic Wembley, famous for being the home of English football and the world renowned stadium and music venue. The campus is 5 km away from the Kingsbury campus and can be reached by bus or train in approximately 15 minutes and is about a 5 minute walk from Wembley Central Tube station. All MBA and MQP programmes will be taught in Wembley while BBA, DFP and English programmes will remain at the Kingsbury campus. MBA students are asked to turn up at the Wembley campus for the start of classes on Monday 21st June 2010. Timetables will be issued tomorrow, so please check the time of your first class and make sure you allow enough time to find the new building before your class. Academic Gown Hire for the Graduation Ceremony

Gowns for the July 10th graduation ceremony are now available to hire and photo packages to book from the Ede and Ravenscroft website. Deadline to hire a gown is 25th June 2010, students who fail to hire a gown WILL NOT be allowed to participate in the ceremony and there will be no gowns available on the day. It is recommended that students also book photographs in advance as the company charge an extra administration fee on the day of the event. Please visit:

TASMAC Graduation Ceremony

TASMAC is pleased to announce that the MBA graduation ceremony will be held at the prestigious Landmark Hotel (http://www.landmarklondon.co.uk/index.html) in Marylebone on the 10th July 2010. The celebration of your achievements and accumulation of 16 months of hard work will consist of a graduation ceremony in the morning followed by a formal graduation ball and dinner in the evening. To attend the ceremony you must have completed your dissertation by 21st June 2010. Students will be allowed to invite guests to both the ceremony and party. Student Services will be able to assist by producing invitation letters to those guests who will need to apply for a visa. More information about registration and details of the event will be sent to your home address soon.

Internship Deadline

The deadline for dissertation students to apply for an unpaid internship is 30th April 2010. Applications forms are available from Student Services. Placements are still available for any student who has already handed in their dissertation if they contact Student Services as soon as possible.

Re-sit Exam Results

Please note that the results for all re-sits which were held on 20th and 21st March 2010 will released in third or the last week of April 2010.

Assessment tests for graduate job hunters

Anoop Bahorun will be hosting a short series of professional workshops designed to help graduate job hunters pass assessment tests. Assessment tests are increasingly used by employers in the recruitment process to filter out the best candidates. The first workshop will be based on numerical reasoning on Monday 12th April at 2.30-3.30pm in room 107. The second workshop on verbal reasoning at 11.30am-12.30pm will be on the 19th April in room 107.

Staff/Student Association Meeting

The first staff/student meeting of this term will take place on Friday 26th March 2010. Please approach your Student Representative with any agenda items you would like them to discuss at the meeting. The deadline for submission of agenda items by your rep is Thursday 12pm, so make sure you inform them as soon as possible.

CV one-to-one advice sessions

Students can book one-to-one CV advice sessions on Fridays. Appointments will last 15minutes and can be booked through Student Services.
